The Gent Fonzworth Bentley

I have always admired Derek Watkins a.k.a Fonzworth Bentley, who I used to called the Umbrella Man. 

He was the first Hip-Hop Artist whose style I loved and also one of the first male who I have known dressing well! I guess a lot of people might agree that, with his outward appearance, he is in contrast to other Hip-Hop Artist since he had started his career. Hip-Hop does not mean Baggy pants, shamble and gangster behavior. It can also appear in suits, sublime language and subdued manners. 

And I was very amused watching his effort reeducating ruffians in gentlemen (From G's to Gents).

       

Hello Winter, Hello Fur !

Diesmal hat uns der Winter eiskalt erwischt, denn egal wo, meine Ohren erhaschen nur Gejammer über die neuesten News über "so und so viele Unfälle" und "Och wie kalt es schon wieder ist" . 

Auch ich bin normalerweise kein großer Fan von weißer Pracht und alldem was sie mit sich bringt, aber diesmal musste auch ich einsehen, dass es langsam reicht mit der negative Energie in der Kälte.

 Das geht oft einfacher als gedacht.

Wer den Winter genießen will besorge sich bitte zumindest anständige Kleidung, Tee ,Kaffee oder sonstiges und Winterreifen.

Danach reden wir weiter.

Yeah I know, Winter 2010 is so freezing, and Yes I also know, 

there a lot of unnecessary accident happening out there.

But 'common Listen to reason, let's stop  adding some negative energy to our mood and start to consecrate ourselves to the good side of winter.

Put on reasonable clothes, drink some tea or coffee and hell, get some winter tire for ur car.

But we can say: It's defenately something different, let's say unusual.

And I think that It is exactly what he wanted to achieve!

Doch Talavera ist sich durchaus bewusst, dass nicht alle seine Mode gut finden werden.

Darum geht es glaub ich auch nicht.

Was man auf jeden Fall sagen kann: Seine Mode ist anders, sagen wir ungewöhnlich.

Und ich glaube genau das will er!

Das war mal mein Facebook Eintrag im Mai, nachdem ich wieder einmal Köln besucht habe, einer meiner Lieblingsstädte. Ich wurde an diesem Tag von der Vielfalt der Kulturen überwältigt und bin fest davon überzeugt, dass Mode auf der Straße geboren wurde oder direkt in der Nachbarschaft! 
Ich liebe Vielfalt, Multikulti, Individualitäten und Abwechlung. Und es ist immer bemerkenswert wie sich das auch in der Kleidung verschiedener Leute wiederspiegelt. Passend zu meinen Gedanken einiege Fotos eines französischen Blogs!

That was my facebook-entry in may, after i had visited cologne, on of my favourit cities. I was overwhelmed that day by the variety of cultures and I am firmly convinced that fashion was born on the streets or directly in the neighbourhood!
I like diversity, multiculturalism, personalities and variety. And it's always remarkable how this is reflected in the clothing of different people. Fits to my mind some pictures of a french blog!
