I've always been a fan of riding habit and polo outfits although, honestly, I don't feel comfortable conceiving of being a part of the ''higher class'', denoted with good manners, political conversations and the nobility behind my back.

But, I love their fashion, or rather,

clothes which decent people should wear.

(I guess this is how the nobility would express it)

So in this way, let me introduce you to

Ralph Lauren is the founder of one of the most prestigious label, which first specialized on  doing polo-fashion.But also tennis- and golf player love his elegant items of clothing, with the result that he brought out various articles of apparel, fulfillng all classy fashion-whiches.

Lauren's sweatshirts and pullovers are labelled with the US-flag and also he orientates hisself by the british college- and country style.

Last week my friends and I decided to go shopping in Bochum. My friend Tom is a big Fan of the brand G-Star, so he dragged us to their store there. Before we went in, we saw Magnus Carlsen's face on the shop window. During I was rolling my eyes, because sara started to rhapsodize for this '' Nerd-looking'' boy (that's exactly how she called him :D), I started to wonder who this boy was. He does not look like a typical model.

So there we are!

Magnus Carlsen is a Norwegian chess player and grandmaster. Since the beginning of 2010 he transferred, as the youngest player ever, to the FIDE world ranking list. 

So, Who knew? 

G-Star engaged a mastermind as their model. That provides the thesis that Nerds are
 en Vogue right now. 
Spur of the moment, the style of the science student became fashionably capable.

And horn-rimmed specs and trousers at half-mast become more and more popular and are considered to be cute!

Maybe people are getting tired of perfect looking stereotypes.

Maybe they want more personality and imperfection.

Be that as it may!

I find it really amusing watching groups of people dressing the same,

because they don't want to attract attention.

And there are some who exactly want that: striking!

It was a great idea of G-Star. 

I think people like Carlsen are not hyping to much on fashion.

And I like it!

Letzte Woche besuchten meine Freunde und ich die Stadt Bochum.
Da mein Freund Tom ein Fan von G-Star ist, schleppte er uns zunächst in ihr Geschäft dort. 
Bevor wir den Laden betraten, sahen wir das Gesicht von Magnus Carlsen 
auf dem Schaufenster.
Während ich also die Augen rollte, weil meine enzückende Freundin für den ''Nerd-looking Boy'' schwärmte (genauso nannte sie ihn :D), begann ich mich zu fragen 
wer dieser junge Mann wohl sein mag.
Denn er sieht nicht aus wie ein typisches Model.


Magnus Carlsen ist ein norwegischer Schachspieler und Großmeister. Seit Anfang 2010 führt er, als jüngster Spieler aller Zeiten, die FIDE-Weltrangliste.
Wer hätte das gedacht?
G-Star engagiert also einen Superhirn, um für sie zu modeln.
Dies unterstützt geradezu die These, dass Nerds jetzt total in Mode sind.
Ührplötzlich gilt der Look des Wissenschaftlers als modich kompetent!
Und Nerd-Brillen und Hochwasserhosen werden immer beliebter und gelten als süß.
Vielleicht will die Welt mehr Persöhnlichkeit.
Kann auch sein, dass man die Stereotypen im Mode-Business satt hat.
Sei es wie es wolle!
Es amüsiert mich, dass es Gruppen gibt, in denen sich alle Mitglieder ähneln,
um ja nicht aufzufallen.
Andere hingegen wollen genau DAS: 
Anders sein und Aufmerksamkeit erregen!


Ich glaube aber Leuten wir Carlsen ist dieder ganze Hype
um die Mode egal.
Und es war eine gute Idee von G-Star,
so Jemanden an Bord zu holen.
